Most apps include breathing and awareness anchoring exercises, body scans, and a variety of mindfulness, and other meditations. Podcasts are great ways to learn about other people that have integrated mindfulness into their lives, as well as have the opportunity to hear from different teachers and authors. There are many of both out there to explore. Here are a few reputable ones to get you started:

Insight Timer-Meditation Timer: This is a free and simple to use meditation timer that also includes a thousands of guided meditations and talks to choose from. https://insighttimer.com/
Headspace: Headspace is a great app for beginning meditators. https://www.headspace.com/ (First 10 guided meditations are free.)
Calm: This is a popular app that offers guided meditation sessions in a variety of lengths, so you can choose the perfect length to fit with your schedule. People especially love their ‘Sleep Stories’. https://www.calm.com/
Ten Percent Happier: This app provides access to topic-focused meditations, talks, and more, offering a variety of approaches so you can find the best approach for you. https://www.tenpercent.com/
Wild Mind: This website offers resources for what it calls “Buddhist Meditation.” It provides articles that are straight forward and the techniques offered are consistent with many strategies we work on in Koru mindfulness courses. https://www.wildmind.org/

10% Happier Podcast (with Dan Harris): This is a podcast started by Dan Harris, the ABC newsman, who began learning about meditation after experiencing a panic attack while reporting live on Good Morning America.
